Statement of the Sto Foundation regarding the current corona crisis

Dear trainees, students and friends of the Sto Foundation,

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared a public health emergency of international concern as a result of the current outbreak of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. As a result, life in Germany and the rest of the world has come to an unexpected standstill. As a result, several Sto Foundation projects, which all of us have eagerly anticipated and, in some cases, worked on for months already, have had to be cancelled at short notice.

However, this does not mean that we will stop working for you! Approved funds for projects such as the numerous summer schools can naturally still be made available. If possible, other projects that cannot currently be carried out will be postponed until a later date.

We are closely following official announcements from the government and health authorities and will keep you up to date on how they affect our work! Until then, we hope you will stay healthy and retain a sense of optimism.
