International exchange programme | The Sto Foundation welcomes the next generation of tradesmen from Spain
Stühlingen. A German-Spanish partnership is thriving in Baden-Württemberg's plastering trade. The BSZ (Vocational College) in Leonberg welcomed students and teachers from its partner school in Malaga for the second time. Over the course of 14 days, the prospective plasterers learn about the theory and practice of their German colleagues. The aim of the programme is to point out possible career perspectives in Germany to young Spaniards.
The programme kicked off with an invitation from the Sto Foundation to visit Sto SE & Co. KGaA in Stühlingen in southern Baden. In addition to visiting production and the Info Factory, there was also plenty of time for technical discussions with the young colleagues. Till Stahlbusch, member of the Foundation Council Board, emphasised the value of the programme, “The activities of BSZ Leonberg cannot be rated highly enough. It is so important to open up prospects to these young people. The Sto Foundation has been supporting painters and plasterers for more than ten years now; it's thus an honour to support the activities of BSZ in connection with the young people from Spain.”
