Sto Foundation awards scholarships for the Green.Building.Solutions. in 2016

Summer School | Aspects of sustainable planning and construction in Vienna

Eco-friendly and reusable construction materials, renewable energies, sustainable planning strategies, intelligent solutions in mains utilities and passive house technologies - climate and resource protection is also a central topic at the 2016 Green.Building.Solutions. in Vienna. The Sto Foundation is once again supporting the international summer school this year. Architecture and civil engineering students can still apply for a scholarship up to 1 April 2016.

Up to 40 international students and professionals involved in architecture, planning, and civil engineering are invited to attend the inter-university, three-week summer programme. The UNESCO awarded summer university, held in Vienna, is organised in cooperation with seven Austrian universities (University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, University of Technology, University of Economics and Business, University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, Danube University Krems, FH-Campus Wien), representatives of the “innovative gebäude” platform, and the Austrian Institute of Technology. The programme includes ecological, economical, technical, and social aspects of sustainable planning and construction. These topics are elaborated using practical examples in lectures, on excursions, and in project work.

Registering for the Green.Building.Solutions. 2016 and applying for scholarships is possible at G.B.S. 2016 application. Applications will be accepted until June 2016. We recommend registering as soon as possible, particularly if you are applying for a scholarship. This is still possible until 1 April 2016.
